DEVELOPING HUMAN CAPACITY
A) Early Childhood Development
Findings show that high-quality experiences in the early years are linked to positive outcomes associated with health, social and economic wellbeing as adults. In rural areas, children often don’t achieve their development potential due to poverty, poor health and nutrition, and a lack of a receptive invigorating environment. Our Early Childhood Development program targets children from birth up to the age of eight.
Our Foundation targets to avail building blocks of knowledge and learning at an early age; this not only harnesses basic reading comprehension skills but also equips children with abilities to navigate the challenging paths of adolescence and early adulthood.
“Encouraging young children to be eager about learning”
Our Approach on Early Childhood Development:
1. Strengthening parenting capacity through health facilities and parenting meetings.
2. Partner with health facilities to provide Health Screening & Antenatal Care for expectant mothers.
3. Children’s routine growth monitoring and counselling.
4. Provision of nutritional supplements.
5. Improve the quality of existing public preschools.
6. Establish community-owned preschools.
7. Support affordable, high-quality childcare, enabling women to work.

EDUCATION REFORMS
Education is the basis for human development and the advancement of society; a universal privilege. We focus on supplementing budgets provided by the Government for public schools to further support programs under our strategic vision on Education & Education Reform. Evidently, there’re a lot of other costs associated with attending school that most often than not aren’t considered during the budget allocation process hence many worthwhile programs remain underfunded; this is a gap we want to bridge.
Our Approach on Education & Education Reform:
We endeavor to establish more ECD centers and programs to provide access to quality ECD services in remote rural areas. Our strategy on using a child-centered learning approach will ultimately provide training and support for teachers; helping them to:
1. Offer safe, stimulating and nurturing early learning environments for young children.
2. Partner with us as we pursue to establish community libraries and ICT hubs as central resource centers. This enhances access to learning opportunities through education technology.
3. Better equip existing schools with quality age-appropriate and contextually relevant resources.
Scholarship Funding
We support students who are financially underprivileged. In our pilot phase, we aim to successfully transition over 100% of our students from primary to high school and from high school to university regardless of religion, ethnicity or gender.
Advocacy for Education Reform
Our intervention is to spur a coordinated effort between stakeholders, educators and parents to drive systemic and policy changes that will benefit underserved students.
Specifically, we center our consultations around:
1. Meticulous revisions to school board policies and their composition.
2. Revision of class size limits to impact students’ ability to connect with their peers, share their ideas and broaden their perspectives.
3. Establishment of more schools to keep pace with increases in student enrollment.
4. Extra staffing for Art and Afterschool programs
Arts Center Program
“Art is any form in which an expression or application of human creativity, skill, and imagination created something that other people can experience through their senses”
Our resolve is to put together a safe and secure setting for disadvantaged children and young adults where they can gather, feel free, discover their capabilities and talents through:
1. Painting: Expressing Artistic Vision
2. Sculpting: Modelling, sculpting, carving stone, wood or other materials 3. Music: Creation and Performance
